Katie Plitt is a textile designer, graphic artist and illustrator who cannot remember a time when she was not captivated by fashion. At a young age, she left her home state of Wisconsin to pursue a career in art and design, traveling to New York City to attend the prestigious Parsons School of Design.

Following graduation, she decided New York was her new home. She joined one of the world’s most prominent fashion brands where she has spent two decades creating original textile patterns and graphic designs for many licensed categories as well as learning the business behind the glamour.

An avid entrepreneur, she has pursued many creative endeavors including creating her own fabric line, a children’s television show pilot, and illustrations that have been featured in magazines all around the world. 

In 2019 she fulfilled a longtime dream when she and her partner Victoria Dadet-Nganga launched ANASA, a luxury resort wear brand made in Kenya, that embodied their love of travel, fashion, and social responsibility.

 The mother of two boys ages, twelve and fifteen, Katie is passionate about making things, great design, travel, animals, and learning about and exploring new cultures.
